In 2012 I plan on working on...

2. Elemental Cosmos from Witches Stitches (restart)
3. Harley Davidson Flaming Eagle from Ebay (restart)
4. Imperial Dragon from Serendipity Design

I'm sure there will be other little things added from time to time..would like to see at least one major happy dance by the end of the year =)

Major Happy Dance!!!!

I have finally finished my 2010 EMS SAL. So very happy to have it done after 2 years. It's going to be a gift for my mom on Christmas. Can't wait for her to have it framed and hung in her house.

 

More Progress

This first picture is where I currently am on this project.

 

This second picture is to mostly show the newest update to this SAL. The border of the little squares is done with Delica beads. I really started to enjoy the beading when I realized I could use a thinner embroidery needle instead of the beading needle I started with which kept poking me and breaking the wire threader lol.

 

Big Mistake

I didn't realize till I had gotten to the Alphabet on this design that I had started way to low on my fabric to complete the entire design so have decided to wait for the next segment which will be the initials and put those in and do the border and call this one finished..Was so disappointed in myself at first but also really excited to start this design over in another color and see the whole thing finished.

 

More Progress

 

As soon as I got up to take a pic of my stitching my silly Misty decided it was her turn to have the recliner lol. So thought I would include her in pic.

 

I've now finished the top half of this SAL except for the border so thought it was time to post a little update. Will be starting second half as soon as this is posted.

Long time no post

I have been stitching a little bit lately..so thought I would post with a new pic of what I have been working on. This is the newest SAL from Periphaeria Designs..I am really enjoying it..so much in fact that I am planning on stitching it in 4 different colors..and using them as a sort of wedding sampler.

This is my constant stitching companion Misty..everytime I settle in my recliner with a blanket to stitch there she is lol.

This is my overall progress on the SAL. Going right now to watch NCIS and start the August square.

I was hoping to get more progress done than I did but still having a very hard time with the black..but yet still enjoying it lol. Also it didn't help that I really got into the show Pretty Little Liars and kept putting my stitching down to watch it..I'm hoping to have at least the blue flower finished by this time next week..

This first pic is a new start..it is Elemental Cosmos by Witches Stitches..I have absolutely fallen in love with this cept that the black is so hard to stitch on and strains my eyes so I mostly try to work on it in the day.

 

This 2nd pic is what Elemental Cosmos will look like when finished.

I'm sorry I have been gone so long..life kind of got in the way and was not doing much stitching..I had gall bladder surgery in July..then a week later one of my best friends died very suddenly and unexpectedly and a few weeks later I got engaged!! Im going to try to post at least once a week I;m hoping this will keep me more on track with my stitching progress through this new year.
