Weekend Progress

I think I spent more time watching movies this weekend then I did stitching, didn't help that my dog was very playful during the weekend..would hardly leave me or my stitching alone lol. I'm glad the purple square is done cept for the backstitching which I plan to start today. Also got the pink diamonds done, for some reason they looked offcenter the whole time I was stitching the lighter pink center. I think tho it is the color that does it because the green never felt that way lol.

 

New Update

This is my update on this project before participating on a weekend SAL on Facebook..I am hoping to finish at least all of the purple square if not start on the square on the far right. I am still really loving this project and working on it every chance I can get.

 

First Block Finished

This block went so fast and I have absolutely enjoyed stitching it. Have already receieved many compliments by people from my apartment complex. Will be starting the 2nd block a little bit later this evening. My silly dog Kaylee is a complete camera hound and had to get up there and lay down just before I snapped the picture lol.
