When you stitch a pattern that you have downloaded do you print out
the pattern or do you stitch directly from your computer screen?


I print the pattern. I think I would have a lot harder time following the pattern if I wasnt able to mark off what I had done.

After you stitch a pattern or kit, what do you do with it?


So far I have kept all the patterns I have finished in an old shoebox in case I ever want to stitch it again.

Harley Davidson Flaming Eagle

This is a project I started last year..was using only 2 strands but the black didn't cover well enough so ended up ripping out what I had done and using 3 strands instead for all colors. The image unfortunately doesn't show how vibrant the colours in this are. I'm actually starting to enjoy working on this more as I'm starting to see the wings of the eagle form.

What is your favorite past time while stitching? Do you just enjoy
silence, listen to music/audiobooks or do you "watch" TV/movies? Do
you have specific favorites you listen to/watch while stitching?

I either have music or tv on while stitching. I tend to stitch a lot faster than I do if its really quiet. I really don't listen or watch anything too specific when I stitch I guess it is more background noise than anything for me.

Another happy dance

So I rhink this was my fastest project ever..it took me about 24 hours or less. Lots of stops and starts tho..the really small size had my fingers and wrists cramping really badly. I wish I had centered it a bit better before mounting but I still think it looks good.

Do you do anything special to your threads before putting them throughyour fabric to make them more manageable?

About the only thing I will do is use Thread Heaven on metallics and blending.

I have a finish for the first time in quite a while..I know it's not a big one but its cute and a sign to me that I am back to stitching again finally..I have been working on Harley a bit but not as much as I should be doing.
